Wow, these were some of my absolute favorite songs! Honestly, I can't really say that I disliked ANY of the performances tonight.
Syesha-wow-hot-sexy-outstanding. and I think, overall, my favorite performance tonight. (I think she needs to seriously think about Broadway as a career.)
Jason. Hmmmm, a little ignorant in his song choice. Definately, my least fav performance of his and of the ALW whole night....BUT, I still enjoyed listening. (It's such a pretty song!)
Brooke... I DID NOT LIKE that she started over, but I thought she performed REALLY well. Come on, it's a song MADONNA has made famous-give her a little credit! Way to go, Brooke!
Little David-it was good....brave too. I don't know if I would have had the balls to change such a masterpiece of a song.
Carly- it was fun to watch and I think she did it really well....I wish she wouldn't YELL her songs though.
Big David....not my fav of his, but enjoyable.
And Kristy....oh yeah, she's gone-AND GOOD THING! This night would have been way over her head!

I could seriously disagree with you. This wasn't my favorite night - I hyped it up in my mind!! Cause the ALW (how gay is he, by the way!!) songs are so much better as they were originally sung in the plays that I was actually let down!
I'd have to say David Cook was my favorite - just cause he has an amazing voice and he didn't try to over-do it or destroy it. He's at the top, and it was good.
David Archuleta was good cause he DID change it up. He was trying to keep his eyes OPEN ... and it was cracking me up ... and then it was cracking me up even more when David Cook closed his eyes so many times in his performance!
Brooke was good - she sounded more like a SINGER and less like BROOKE if anyone can understand what I mean by that.
Jason was great - it's Jason and he sounded like Jason ... and he's a kid who obviously didn't grow up with musicals so ...
Carly's was another I really liked, I like the screaming :) And most of all, she just was having fun instead of being overly paranoid over this intensly difficult week!
Syesha was good - but who knows what the original song is - and well, it was just good and cute how she was getting the band people to dance with her.
After all the anticipation ... I'm sort of bummed I hyped it up so much and expected more.
Now, I can't wait for next week!
And I have NO CLUE who will go home tomorrow.
No, it wasn't my favorite NIGHT! but they are some of my favorite SONGS!
And I think they ALL did well considering the caliber of the song choices.
The rainbow was in honor of ALW...and all his gaity.
The only problem I had with David Cook is the pretend accent he tried to put into the song....go back and listen to it....he kept changing his mind on it then finally ditched it by the end.
I agree with you on Carly about her having fun this week. I think that's why she and Syesha did so well-they just WENT with it instead of stressing over it.
I understand what you are saying about Brooke. She did have a different sound-a little softer, I think. But at this point...she can't be stopping and starting over. In order to win, you've got to have the "whole package" (Like David Cook-hardly messes up-EVER!) I think it's time for her to go now....she's not done well the past few weeks and I think she's kind of slipping through. (But I don't know if America agrees with me??? Who knows!!)
I've been liking Syesha more and more each week-I think she's moved to my #4 personal fav. (The Davids, Jason and Syesha)
